Ad Experiment- Ads not running??

Is anyone else in this experiment and seeing the same thing? I wonder if data just isn't queuing up because they're running a test. They said they would increase my ad budget (at no cost) on the 2nd. My chat is saying I saw a spike in views at midnight and then it flat lines. No funds spent.

The last time this happened it was still running in the background but data didn't show up until the next day. Looking at my shop I've had no ad sales today.

Yes, I tried to talk to them via chat but they said there was no issue (I don’t think they understood at all).

Now the chat isn’t working. Normally we can end the chat and start a new one… but now the chat hasn’t ended and they aren’t responding.

I just increased my ad budget and did a search of my shop name and nothing pops up. So I'm pretty sure my ads just aren't running today.

Hi, I'm having the same issue. Little to no views and zero sales so far today. I usually average around 5 sales per day.

I see ads running for Sunnytyde but not number6UK.

I had a few clicks since I posted but nowhere near my usual spending. 
I’m pretty sure it’s because of the test we are in.

I've just spoken to Etsy on the phone and they said that other people are reporting it too but I'm still not convinced that they understand what the actual issue is. At first they said the ad stats are not showing correctly, but that's not the issue. I don't think that the ads are showing to customers at all. I've still only spent $0.83 and I've still only had 28 views, yesterday was 1,900+ views and $12 spent.

I spend $7.50 per day on ads and it's usually spent by this time of the day. Today i've spent $0.62 and had two views.

Yes, same. My adspend is almost nonexistent today, I normally spend $30 a day on ads. It’s not that the ad stats aren’t updating. The difference is noticeable in my shop visits and sales, as well.

This sounds more like it may be a search issue - perhaps they are playing with the algorithm again. A listing needs to be ranked high enough in that particular search to be seen first and then the "decision" is made whether or not to show it as an ad.

I'm still getting plenty of sales through pure SEO. So that seems to be functioning within my shop.

Your ads are showing up just fine.

Sounds like a problem with indexed titles.  I see many similarities it titles among the tarot card to you may be competing with others that are winning out due to high sales or other indicator.

Also many of your listings are showing first page so ads may not be worthwhile for you.

Ads are working fine for me.

I searched my shop name and it's all my listings except for the ads. Friends/family as seeing the same thing so my ads are definitely off right now. I do get the majority of my sales through SEO and repeat customers so this isn't hugely impactful for me specifically. However, if I want to spend money on Ads, let me! lol

My ad views and clicks still haven't changed since I noticed the problem about 5 hours ago.

If someone sees our ads it doesn’t mean everyone is seeing them. Especially because we are in this test. And for those of us who are in it, if you read carefully it does say that this ad spent that Etsy is picking up is part of a test with Etsy ads. So who knows what else they are messing with?

My sales are not running in the main listings!  I have 20% on my items and you can't see the sale until you click on the actual item. ETSY NEEDS TO STOP RUNNING TESTS!!!!!!

Yes, I agree with you but the ads test was announced and there was a way to opt out if you wanted to.

Todays ads are now also not showing up on browser. Shows today as august 1st and yesterdays numbers. App appears to be working correctly however my stats are a day behind as well which I’ve already reported to Etsy. Yuck, I hate this test and these changes!
