I was on track to get my first Star Seller badge. My last sale had to be remade from my production partner due to a quality issue, and as long as it shipped by the 23rd (which it did - USPS tracking label 1:10pm on the 23rd) it would be ok, and I would still make Star Seller.
Now I’ve just checked and Etsy data says tracking label date is the 24th. Am I missing something? Am I supposed to update the tracking myself? Because thus far it’s all been automatically updated for all previous sales.
Devastated to say the least
Could there be a time zone difference?
I have had sales come in during the early hours of the morning in Europe and it shows up in my dashboard to dispatch today to the United States instead of the following day.
@defiantDNAdesigns: Are you basing this on the CSV file? The file (and Etsy Star Seller stats) are in UTC not your local time zone.
@BagmakerSupply Yes the CSV file said shipping label was the 24th, Etsy was saying I needed to ship by the 23rd. Buyer was based in America, tracking label was created in America.
The Eastern Standard Time (North America) is only 5 hours behind UTC, so this would still make the item shipped on time on the 23rd.
Thanks for the reply. Any other ideas or thoughts?
When did USPS accept the package? If it was after then it was late. The label is not the only item. The package has to be accepted by USPS within the processing time frame.
