I just opened a new shop and 8 items I have uploaded are disappeared. I sell on etsy since 2012 and I know how it works. Now I have to make new pictures (deleted already all from my pc) and write the description again. Really disappointed
I just noticed this morning that a new listing that I published yesterday just disappeared. POOF--no where in any of my folders. Just gone. I thought I was going crazy, but clearly not as it is happening to others. All that work was wasted energy.
I am also frustrated that it's 2021 and still no resolution?? Or did I miss the miracle post where the wizard behind the curtail unveils its secrets in how to materialize what's evaporated into the ether?
Oh my goodness, all but one of my 117 active listings are stuck in the ‘all” category, I don’t know how to move them, I’ve been selling no problem, last night just like that all gone. Not in the “active “ or “Expired” and “ inactive” I’m so frustrated, contacted support and just waiting to hear back.
So, here we are over a year and a half later and all these people commenting about the same thing and it continues to happen. I finally gave up trying to keep track of these missing listings. I pay to have items listed for a specific length of time and *poof* they simply disappear. In order to get those items back into my shop, I must now create a whole new listing and pay an additional .20 to list it. Etsy needs to concentrate on fixing these bugs and quit making changes that do not benefit the shop owners! I am at the point now that I am just letting my listings expire and when they have all either disappeared or expired, I will be closing my shop. It's obvious that Etsy does not care about the small shop owner that it was created for in the first place.
the same has happened to me - i searched for some necklaces I had listed, could not find them. let's say Etsy said I had 52 necklaces listed, but when I actually went in and counted all, only 50 were showing on active listings and I did look in the inactive listings. Same with other categories, earrings and bracelets. I complained about it, asked about it and never got an answer. what I did was copy each listing and then delete the ones that weren't showing and suddenly they are back. I think there is a glitch at times in listings. But I don't have the time to look to see if all my listings are showing, with almost 500 items. When items need to be renewed, I copy the listing and then delete the old, I no longer just click on the renew button.
This has affected me since yesterday. I currently have at least 3 renewed listings not showing in my listings manager. They do show in my shop page however.
I have the same issue. My active listing number in my listing manager does not match with the listing showing in my shop.
I cannot see any of my listings! I cannot change any of my prices or adjust my inventory!
Its March 2020, this thread scares me. I had a shop for a week with one listing. After a few good days my listing is not showing in the shop, but it shows as active in my listing manager. So annoying. Wrote to support team and got no answer. Did ANYBODY get an answer from Etsy regarding listing disappearing? Or had the listing back and after what time?
I have recently discovered a lot of my listings have disappeared. I have over 2000 listings (according to the etsy shop manager count) and 196 of them are leather. At least 8 of the leather listings I had are completely gone. They are still in stock, haven't sold, I know they were photographed and listed and they just disappeared. I'm just one person and don't have any time to do a complete inventory on a regular basis and now I'm not only angry about the fees I have to pay to put these items back in stock, but also worried about all my other listings and what's potentially missing.
After discovering the missing leather listings, I just started randomly checking other things and sure enough found more listings just completely gone - not in expired, sold or deactivated. The only items I have ever deleted are things discontinued by a manufacturer.
ETSY YOU NEED TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE! Unfortunately, closing my shop is not an option. Although I'd love to in protest to so many issues that etsy seems to have and not being a true advocate of it's sellers. It really has us all in a strong hold if you are like me and depend on this site for an income.
Digging up a semi-active old thread to say this issue is still occurring nearly 3 years later.
I've seen a few items disappear from listings over the years but just realized there are 15 (or more) vintage head vases that I've photographed and done detailed listings on that have absolutely VANISHED.
No idea when this occurred but I'm really mad about it! Regardless of the money paid for the listing, Etsy makes it a LOT of work to do detailed listings as most of my items are single, unique and vintage! The time involved to relist an item is infuriating! I can list on eBay in 1/10th of the time and my products don't disappear.
It seems like Etsy pays no attention to shop owners as this is obviously a very serious issue. They either are well aware of it but don't know how to fix it, or they just don't care. After this amount of time without addressing the issue I'm thinking the latter.
Mine is a new shop. I've got 10 active listings. On the app my listings all appear. When I got to my shop on the app, two are missing. So I then tried to look at my shop in the Etsy buying app and the same two items are not showing. I know which items are missing exactly. The two listings have only been advertised for 3 weeks and have available stock. Any ideas?
I put up 13 listings 3 hours ago, sold 4 and now have only 1 active listing. I hit ALL listings and the missing ones show up but when I try to click on them it says “can’t load item.” Then I had one tell me to put when it was made- and I’d already done that PLUS I can’t get to that screen without completely starting over. It was hard work putting up these listings and now I have to do it again and be charged again??? ETSY, FIX THIS.
