I'm facing a bit of a dilemma.
This morning I received a message from Etsy that my account was put on vacation mode, but after verifying my ID it was automatically removed.
But after a while I noticed that my Star Seller badges were gone. In the "customer service stats" tab, a banner appeared saying that my account was limited. I re-read all the restrictions and rules of the platform as I had done before and found that I had not committed any violations and had always followed the rules of the platform.
Also, the rules state that accounts that have been noticed to be extremely active can be restricted It is worth noting that a week before that my account was stationary and I did not upload listings and yesterday I added about 22,
However, I wonder what I should do in this situation because Etsy did not send me an email about it and I don't know whether to write to them or maybe I just need to wait a little
Have you encountered this? I will be grateful for your advice

This happened to me as well right after verification my shop went back up but without star seller badge.
thanks for your answers, I hope your badges come back! I contacted support and they fixed everything quickly!
Other sellers have noted this. I don't know if it would help to contact Etsy and ask when they will be restored as your ID was verified.

This so weird, I came to say the same thing happened to me but while I was reading the other posts my star seller badge magically reappeared. took all day though.
I had it this morning too but only knew about it because I had received a message about an hour before I sat down to get working and there was an auto-reply stating I'm working on my current orders...etc. I never sent that and only use auto-reply if I know I'm going to be away for more than a day.
Checked my shopfront and everything was available but no badges. Sent off a quick message through the help section and asked if I had done anything that needed to be corrected and only mentioned the badges at the end of the message asking to reinstate them if it's appropriate.
I had a HUMAN reply in less than an hour and at some point, they were back and the "limited" banner disappeared. I had orders to fill and clients to work with so I don't know how long it was before they came back.
This isn't the first time that has happened. I think 3 or 4 times? It's always fixed quickly but it sure makes the heart beat a bit faster.
And I think the OP might be on to something. I've been active in my shop but not as much as usual because I went out of state for the holidays and then jumped into a move and personal shakeup. So I've not been as active as I usually am. I listed 1 new item right after I reopened my shop to get the flow going but haven't been able to add more mostly because I can't find anything! (hate moving)
One of my regular repeat buyers purchased another 4 things from me but did it individually. So she paid shipping 4 times. Same address as usual so I asked if I could ship together and refund the other charges. Obviously she agreed so I did that last night around the time I shut down for the night. So I processed 3 partial refunds. Maybe that triggers something. *shrug*
I've never had any problems with my account so yeah, it's frustrating as h%ll. I hope support was able to fix your issues because I contacted them and they found no issues so they returned the badges. It seems like it was a natural disaster, everyone has the same problem
