Account suspension with no explanation, no email

I woke up to sign in to my main shop with the message that I was "permanently suspended".  I have no copyright issues, Ive had my shop since 2018 and know better.  I have no open order issues..no idea what the problem is.  I have received no emails from Etsy, my last one was yesterday when I purchased a shipping label then this morning I cannot get into my account.  Of course Etsy support is next to impossible to get in contact with .  This happened to. me earlier this year because of "suspicious activity" I still don't know what the problem was and what happened. It took me three months to get my shop open again.  And now this.  I have appealed but the answers they want I cannot answer..like "what will you do to rectify the problem". I have no idea what the problem is?  I have also sent a separate email to Etsy support but both of these take days or weeks to hear from anyone.  If an Etsy support member happens to read this...what do I do?  

Any help is appreciated.  I am almost ready to give up on Etsy completely.  I have had a very successful business here with thousands of customers and almost all 5 star reviews for 5 years now.    It's exhausting and frustrating.  

Also, the last time I used a forum I couldn't reply for some reason so I probably cannot reply to any helpful answers I get,  I thank you in advance.

How to File an Appeal for a Permanently Suspended Account – Etsy Help

Since can't see the other shop without a name to look for cached one, cannot say why.  The shop you are posting from may have had some issues with maturity. 

But since can't really say why, you may just have to review any possibility.  It may be linked to earlier issues you had when the shop was hacked.  Perhaps someone tried again.

You need to remove your email ASAP. You're not talking to Etsy here and Etsy won't email you and these forums are searchable on google.
Not a good idea to put your email in a public forum.

If you have another shop, you need to disclose this in the public profile section.
I don't see your other shop that you said was closed noted in this shop you're posting from. 
All shops (selling or buying accounts) all must be disclosed in each account.

Were you selling the same items in BOTH shops?

The last time this happened an Etsy support member read my post on the forum and contacted me directly..that is the reason I put my email address.  I get that it is searchable on the net.  NO not selling the same thing in both shops.  Totally unrelated.

not sure what you mean by "all must be disclosed in each account"..I file taxes from both of my shops, All the same selling info (name, address, tax info etc) 

 

You can't see the one that is suspended because it isn't searchable anymore.  Basically doesn't exist.  Sadly, I have open orders there that I cannot refund my customers or even contact them to tell them I cannot fulfill their orders because I can't see them.

ALL your accounts must be disclosed in all the other accounts in the public profile section. This is posted in the TOU's.
It has nothing to do with filing taxes. 

Some of items in this shop could cause you issues because of profanity in the pictures and titles. 

Pictures / titles need to be family friendly (blurred out on pictures) and labeled "MATURE".

Why Was My Listing Removed by Etsy? – Etsy Help

  • Your first listing image should be family-friendly. Mature content must be entirely removed, censored, or cropped so that it isn’t visible in the thumbnails of your first photos.

you have your customers orders and email addresses to contact them.

they are located in your order confirmation emails from etsy.

she has the name of her other shop in her announcement.

it is just in the wrong place.

I didn't look at the announcement in her shop just the public profile page where other shops/accounts should be listed according to the Help pages.

@TheOtterTeeShop   The responder is referring to the public profile in each shop which must disclose all shops and buyer accounts.  Nothing about taxes.

Thanks for the info...this is the first time I have heard of the public forum... I will follow through with this.  5 years on etsy and had no clue this needed to be done.

The shop that is closed has nothing to do with the one that you looked at.  That isn't the reason.  But I will take your suggestions.

I just clicked on your shop and it is showing as open. I can see all of your items. Good luck!

You need to learn how to list your mature items. All explained in the help center

i peeked at your other shop and.

i do not see any reason why they would close it.

unless someone were trying to hack in.

Since Etsy "permanently suspended" that shop, I would think that they took care of refunding the customers. However, depending on why it was suspended, you may discover that there will be a trickle down effect that could impact the shop that is still open.

The best advice I can offer is to be aware of and follow Etsy policies. Complete the seller profile and shop policies, etc.

I didn't know what they meant by that until they kindly told me about the public profile.  Also, I do reference my other shop in my profile info but did not know you had to in a public profile.  I will fix those issues if I can get my other shop opened.
