Account suspended - No balance is due

I received an order recently, the very next morning it was cancelled for whatever teh reason, however, nothing was charged to my account.  Yet y account was suspended?

I have a ero balance due on my account and can't pay zero so not sure how to resolve this issue.

Checked my account balance tied to Etsy adn it has suffient funds to cover any expenses that come through.  This is mind blowing to me.

Etsy may have thought you were selling items with medical claims (just a guess). Check to see if they sent you an email explaining why (check your spam/junk mail folder). If you are not selling items that violate the seller policies you can contest your shop suspension.

They are not medical forms just daily task lists, but it wasn't about mu shop personally.  TY for taking time to reply.

When we get the uh oh page on your sales, it usually means that the shop in question is never coming back.

I got the uh oh page.  Looks like you might have been selling something not allowed.

Etsy has not yet reopened your shop.  It still remains with the banner.  

While it might be funds, there could still be other reasons so if Etsy does not reopen your shop within 24 hours, oursue again.

@ArtDollsbyJD I noticed, the email said 24-48 hours, idk if it's automated or someone has to actually click a button to open it.  If not, I'll just leave etsy and coninue using my own website for future sales.

UPDATE on current suspension.

August 5, 2023 I received a message regarding my temporary suspension.

Hi there,

Thanks for contacting Etsy Support! We think you can find the help you need in this message. If you get to the end of the email and still need help, you’ll see instructions for contacting a support specialist.

It appears you’re currently suspended due to a negative balance in your Etsy Payment account. 

Your card on file was declined after Etsy charged your account to cover a refund for your buyer. When there aren't enough funds in your shop’s Payment account to cover a refund, Etsy charges your billing card on file. Since we weren’t able to charge your billing card, we applied the amount of the refund(s) to your Etsy Payment account, resulting in a negative balance in your account. To reopen your shop, you need to pay your balance in full, in accordance with our Fees & Payments Policy.

You should have received an email from us with further details about the suspension, including steps to take to bring your shop back into good standing. 

Once you make a payment, your account will be reinstated within 24-48 hours, if otherwise in good standing, and you can continue to sell on the site.

August 5, 2023 I paid past due balance.

Your payment on August 5, 2023 has been received. Your account balance for CaregiverForms has been adjusted.

Payment Summary
$*.** was charged to your credit card on file .

I have a 5 star shop, no negative reviews to date, All orders shipped and received on time and started receiving repeat orders as well.  It's been 48 hours however, Idk if they work Sunday.

FINAL UPDATE - Suspend Lifted

1. Customer ordered a product.

2. Order was cancelled by Etsy, possible bad payment.

3. Customer refunded

4. My account was put into negative balace caused by fees

5. Account suspended

6. Reset my card to automatic payment and it automatically paid balance due

7. Accounts still not unsuspended due to $3.00 usage fees nornally to be paid 1st of september.

8. Reset my card and automatice payments again and left over balance finally paid.

Why Etsy never paid the full balance due doesn't make any sense.  Cannot find an easier way to pay other than re-adding my card or adding a new form of payment... hold your breath and hopes it's smart enough to pay balance due.

Account was completely insuspended, lesson learned on a shop that doesn't make any sales since February 2023, keep some money in the account in case something weird happens.
