My account has been put in reserve. Etsy says:
"During this period, 75% of the funds you earn from each order will be unavailable for deposit until your order dispatches with valid tracking."
All my orders have tracking and all the orders say "Tracked on Royal Mail" and there is a link to the Royal Mail website that will show the tracking details. But if I select to show orders "not tracked" all my orders with tracking show up. Etsy seems unable to get tracking details from Royal Mail. I even have orders that show up as delivered on the Royal Mail website - but Etsy knows nothing.
So I've done the right thing and put tracking on all items - but Etsy doesn't care. They are holding on to my money and I can't afford to sell on Etsy any longer and have had to put my shop on hold. No wonder Etsy's rating on TrustPilot is so abysmally low.
Sadly, Etsy doesn't recognise Royal Mail tracking! I would send Etsy an email providing proof of tracked items.
Etsy uses aftership, which doesn't integrate properly with Royal Mail - Evri and DHL etc do, so you could try those, if you look on the aftership website, you can see which ones work
Etsy only say they MAY release funds with tracking, not that they WILL
this is from etsy reserve info.........
If your Payment account has a reserve, you may be able to receive the full funds from a sale sooner than 45 days by adding tracking that shows the order in transit.
Etsy isn’t always able to confirm tracking for some carriers. If we can’t determine an order is in transit, the funds will be reserved for the full 45-day period.
.... you can try to contact them, log a ticket, but it may not help
................................................
as we are the second largest sellers on etsy, you think they could do better with recognising Royal Mail tracking , imagine if they didn't recognise USPS tracking!
but they don't seem to care about anything outside the USA
- it's quite strange, as my UK 24 tracked don't come up at all, when clicking "in transit"
the only ones, that do show, when you click on "in transit" are the ones shipped Royal mail, to the USA,
I am in the same boat. They have over £800 of my money. I have tracked all my orders and had buyers leave feedback but still not releasing my funds. I have emailed them 4 times and even requested a call back from them but no joy . They say your emails will be answered in 2 to 3 days but had nothing off them at all.
