Account Suspension Concern

Hi Etsy Community,

I’m reaching out because my Etsy account was recently suspended, and I was not provided with a specific reason for the suspension. I’ve thoroughly reviewed Etsy's policies, and to my knowledge, I have not violated any of the platform's rules or policies.

I have already submitted an appeal, but unfortunately, it was denied without further clarification. This account is my primary source of income, and I’m eager to resolve this issue so I can continue my business on Etsy.

I’m looking for advice from anyone who has gone through a similar situation or knows what steps I can take to have my account reinstated. What should I do next to ensure this doesn’t happen again, and how can I approach Etsy Support more effectively?

Any insights or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Your shops does not show suspended; it is closed. From your banner selling animes, etc., it sounds like you may have been infringing on fan art.

All of my listings have also been deactivated by Etsy, and I received the following message:

"Your account is currently suspended. Etsy has suspended your account privileges. Please check your email for a message explaining why and how to restore your account. If you have further questions, contact Etsy Support."

No, special permission is not required to use the term "VTuber" to sell products. "VTuber" is a general term used to describe virtual YouTubers or streamers and is not owned by any specific entity. However, I ensure that I follow platform guidelines and respect any relevant intellectual property rights when creating and selling my products

Twitch is trademarked for just about anything,

if you are really whacked for trademark infringement and etsy sispends your shop - it looks like you failed the appeal, as your shop is not suspended, it is closed.

In order to keep Etsy safe and improve our Services, we may take actions that limit the visibility of your shop, listings or ads, or that impact your payment account. In the event a shop sees unusual order activity, you do not meet our minimum customer service standards or we otherwise believe that your actions or shop may result in buyer disputes, chargebacks, increased risk of fraud, counterfeiting, or other claims, Etsy may take actions such as limiting visibility of your account or listings, placing restrictions or reserves on your payments account, or suspending your Etsy account, in accordance with our Terms of Use, including this Policy and our Etsy Payments Policy. When appropriate and permitted by law, Etsy will communicate information to the affected seller about the issue.
