Account Locked

Hi all,

My other Etsy account has been locked for awhile due to ‘security reasons’. I’ve emailed Etsy several times and cannot get a reply after giving my information regarding the account. 

This has happened multiple times for this account despite never having any security issues. I have no clue how else to contact Etsy and unlock my account; I’m not a seller but I have vital information on that account. Thank you!

Don't send different multiple messages. Keep on the same one, otherwise you get to the bottom of the pile. When you don't get a response, click on you still "need help"

I’ve sent a message from the help page and get an email which I respond with all my info but I don’t get an email back. This has happened before a few years ago and they replied very quickly and solved the issue with no problems. I’ve even replied to one of my past emails to see if there was an update but no luck still.

@CodeRedMountainDew   The advice from UniqueGiftOrnaments is the best way to deal with your other shop.  Before you proceed further with this shop you’re writing from, you should consider changing the name to something that isn’t trademarked by Pepsi, or this shop could be closed down too.  I wish you the best of luck with your acting career- I’m sure you will do well.

I was going to use the account as a seller but I made it back in like 2013, I only use it for shopping. I appreciate the suggestion though! Also thank you!

Have you been logging in using a VPN? this could cause raise red flags

I usually log in through the app, I use a VPN on my laptop but haven’t logged in on it in awhile.

Etsy knows that both accounts belong to you, so the VPN could be indeed red flagging your account.  In and of itself, it likely isn't an issue, but could be combined with other account flags which result in the security issue.

@CodeRedMountainDew   You could open an Etsy account under your business name ArtemisImages, which appears to be available, and sell your photos. From what I saw, you do very nice work, and I think there’s a market for dramatic photos that are not A.I. generated.
