Accidentally swiped down on iPad

Argh!!! I’ve done this on three separate occasions now and I have to ask...

I was making a listing in the Sell on Etsy app, filling out the description. Meant to swipe down to scroll up, but accidentally hit the top of the window where it says Description when I swiped down which swiped the whole listing down and out the bottom of the screen into No Man’s Land, where left socks and lighters and hair ties hang out. Is it just gone forever? I swiped and swooped and swapped, but to no avail. And not in Drafts either. Is there some fancy schmancy iPad trick I’m unaware of? I was almost done! Was just gonna proofread... sigh...

Does pressing the home button twice quickly take you to all open pages like the iphone? I’m not sure if it works the same way but worth a try.

It does do that, but that window isn’t one of them. It’s just... gone...

So annoying! Just about tossed my tablet at the wall lol. I’ve stopped using the app entirely. Leaves out a lot of options.

It's so frustrating! I hope they fix this soon.  I just took 15 minutes getting a listing and all it's variations together just to accidentally swipe down.

Gave up using the app to post a new item, I now upload photos into a new item and add a quick description, change to draft and finish off using my laptop. Got sick of all the problems with the app

Maybe it's because I'm an old man, but I have never been tempted to use a mobile device to create an online listings, whether it's for Etsy, eBay, Amazon or DriveThru RPG. Not enough display space, and I've never been entirely comfortable with touch displays.

Oi, I feel your pain! I have stopped making listings from my phone or ipad. I do them all on my desktop now. This is so frustrating. I have yet to retrieve anything from no mans land

Etsy needs to add a warning pop-up that says "Are you sure you want to delete this"?

Just one more reason why I never use the app! There are so many things you can't do on it anyway. Even on a mobile device I open Etsy in a browser window if I have to do 'shop stuff'.

This is an old thread but it is still happening. Just yesterday to me too. I usually save after every step but forgot to do that. Very annoying

My issue as well is a really strange and dumb one. I have an older iPad I can write tags in the ap just fine but on my new iPad with a key board tags prompt never comes up. It has been years and hasn’t been fixed.

Instead of 'relisting', I deleted a bunch of items. I contacted Etsy in Chat and within literally 10 seconds later someone answered and within less than 10 minutes helped me get them back. I was sooooo relieved
