@Shop204: If you mean that you have an in house app that uses the Etsy API, V2 was deprecated quite some time ago and you need to update / convert it to V3. https://www.etsy.com/developers/documentation/getting_started/api_basics

I got that message when the old orange app no longer worked. You need to download the new blue Etsy app. Orange Sell on Etsy doesn’t work now. You will need to log into your shop on the new blue Etsy app.

I have a customer who gets the error message with API v2 deprecated. It never appeared on my side or and I never had meesages pop up. I started my shop in June, and I have no other websites or applications integrated.  I'm using the blue App (updated). I tried following the api basics guide from above, but it seems really complicated, at least for me (also not a native english spreaker) and I can't code - Is this something every sinigle etsy seller must do?

Does anyone know an other solution for this?

I'm having the same issue. A customer told me she got this error.  I don't use an app - I always log in on the main website on my PC so it's not as if I have an out of date app.  

How can I resolve this so my customer can download her purchase?

@DgtlPapes @TheSewingMachineUK : Unfortunately there is nothing that we sellers can do. Whatever method the customer is using needs to be updated by Etsy so that it uses the correct (current) API. Etsy made major changes to the API in version 3 (compared to the deprecated version 2) and many things are incompatible between versions.

Are the customers using the latest download link provided by Etsy? One would think that Etsy updated those.

I read the directions, and it still don't know what I supposed to do! I worked for a tech company before I retired, and we had engineers that did this stuff.
