Hi,
Just yesterday ive requested for an API key which is now pending. Ive notice recently with my most popular keyword searches non of my listings are present. Is this a temporary thing until I get approval or is there a way of reversing what I've done to get my listings back up. My listings remain active in my store, just not searchable.
Thanks
Geaeme
@thestaffystudio Support is wrong, you're not indexed. A search for your shop returns this: ''0 results for shop names containing thestaffystudio''.
You have to send an email about this with the heading ''shop not indexed''.
''...reversing what I've done'' Sometimes, getting de-indexed just happens for no reason. But if you tried doing something on the backend, you'll have to let them know what you've done that might've screwed things up.
Listing visibility has nothing to do with API access.
New shops get a temporary boost in visibility which lasts a few weeks - it's probable that your boost has now ended. You listings will now be ranked the same way as everyone else.

ETA - it looks like your shop is not indexed. This sometimes happens due to a bug or if a shop has been on vacation. Contact Etsy support directly (via shop manager > Help > Contact us) and ask them to index your shop.
Thanks. They said it is indexed. Ive been pretty consistent with a new listing everyday, all original work. When I put in a search term using a keyword or even an exact title of a listing it doesn't show my listing.
Ive explained this to support just waiting on a response.
It had been going quite well for the first few months.
Your shop and listings aren't indexed. Probably not related to the pending key, so you'll have to contact Support and mention ''shop not indexed''.
Thanks. They said I am indexed. But still no lidtings are present when using key search terms.

Ill email them, definetly looks like im not indexed. Thanks for your help
@thestaffystudio
I don't know who you're referring too but who ever told you that you shop is indexed is 100% wrong.
They would know this if they had did a search within your shop.
If it was "chat" that told you this, I doubt they even bothered to check.
You can check this yourself and see they were wrong.
Search for any word in your titles in your shop, you'll see you'll get ZERO results in your shop which means you are NOT indexed.
I searched for mug, shirt, tee, staffy, dog and no items showed up in your shop even though you have those words in your titles.
If your shop is "not" indexed then your listings will not show up on Etsy.
Thanks for the validation. Ill get that sorted. Thanks for your help
Generally does anyone know how long it takes support to reply back. Its been 2 days since I asked them to investigate my unindexed store
