I guess because all us other Sellers can do is speculate and sympathize. Only Etsy Support can help, and usually the closed thread message includes that the OP's situation was forwarded to the proper Support section.
Been like that for ages. It's like - nothing to see here, move along, or don't look behind the curtain. It's actually scary. I'm sorry this is happening to so many sellers, including yourself.
