A potential client can't send me a photo in the app.

Hi, has anyone experienced that their customers want to send them a sample of what they want through the Etsy app, but there's no option for them to send me a photo?

Have them use their phones browser.  I don't use the app except to look at things.  I'm a computer user.

The app has a camera icon to load a pic, right there in the convo box - as you probably know.  Be wary of clicking any link they may send you - it could be a scam.

@CreationsByErne: There have been reports that Etsy has disabled the ability to attach an image to the first Message of a thread - presumably because of the number of people clicking on scam links. Perhaps this is what is happening?

@BagmakerSupply   Wow - I hadn't heard of that - it's actually a good idea!  I just started to send a convo to you in your shop, and you're right - there is no camera icon!  Wonder if it appears on the second message?  Can we test?

* Oh - and I'm on my laptop, not seeing the camera icon in a first message.
