I had a customer email me to my private email address. Somehow she got it from Etsy. Has anyone else had this issue?
Anyone who buys from your shop can see your email address just like you can see theirs.
This is why i created a specific gmail address for use with my shop. You can easily do that and change it in your account settings.
For example - baked @ gmail dot com .

@baked Your email address is there for everyone to see. You can see all of your buyers as well. Why is it an issue? I would answer once, just to direct them to the etsy convo instead. Any further messages to email, I would delete.
I setup up a email with my shop name @ gmail.com . You should create a shop email if you are not comfortable with giving out your private one.
