All of my order have been shipped the same day as I received the order. Recently at least 4 of my order were shipped 1-2 hours after the order was received. I immediately enter the tracking number and follow this up with a message to the buyer with the tracking number. I don't understand why my rating is not at 95-100%. Can you please explain. Now shipping from Canada to the US takes generally more than 8 days and this is often due to the parcel sitting in US Customs for 5 days. I have seen this several times while tracking the delivery. Is this affecting my rating??
@GregsDiamondWillow: "Can you please explain." The CSV file on your Star Seller page will tell you what Etsy thinks is late or otherwise has something wrong with it. In particular make sure that *Had processing time?* = yes, *Ship by* has a date, *Tracking/label date* has a date, and *Shipped on time?* = yes. Remember that Star Seller dates / times are in UTC not your time zone.
The Star Seller metrics for shipping do NOT consider delivery or in transit time - just if the order was shipped on or before the scheduled ship by date with verifiable tracking.
Download your order history file and check what it says. Any packages with missing tracking?
There is no need to contact the customer
you have to either buy labels on etsy, then they enter the tracking number
or you have to mark as complete yourself, and you enter the tracking number against the correct shipper and service.

When checking your CSV file, do you also see a "no" in the 'Had Processing Time?' column alongside the "no" in the 'Dispatched on Time?' column? If so, it could be a glitch (that Etsy knows about and is apparently working on... slooooowly).
I could have sworn the exact same statement as the OP. But one day mine dropped to 95% and I was sure it was a mistake.
I checked the CSV file and sure enough, there was a sale where I had omitted to enter the tracking details.
I'm not as perfect as I'd like to think I am!
