429 error code

I can’t get on the website from my computer. Only with my phone. In the computer it keeps giving me a 429 error code. I have cleared history cookies and anything else I can think of. Have updated Chrome. The strange thing is the reference lusted beneath the code leads you to a you tube video of Nicki Minaj. Never even been there. Help help help!!!

@CreativeImaginings: Are you using a VPN? Etsy has been known to block VPN IP addresses and often uses the 429 error code.

My VPN went through a period where it would dole out the 429 error on Etsy. Sometimes I could change the VPN location successfully & keep it on. Other times I just had to turn it off completely when using Etsy.

DId you recently do an update on your computer?

Try a different browser or restarting your computer.

When in doubt, always power off and back on again. Clears a lot of things and something we should do regularly with cellphones too.
