3 year old shipping profile. Return address now showing as unconfirmed

As the title suggests, I am getting notifications now when buying labels that my 3 year old shipping profiles all of a sudden have unverified return addresses. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Any insight is appreciated.

Each label is now taking nearly 15 seconds to load when trying to purchase labels now. This is all because it is loading the "unverified return address" message. 

If anyone has suggestions on where to buy the Pitney Bowes flat rate labels, outside of here, I would appreciate some suggestions.

Can't you get them directly from Pitney Bowes?  I'm using very old info, like about the 1970's, but every office had a pitney bowes printer.

I'm under the assumption (possibly false) that these labels are only for commercial customers/businesses. If someone has experience otherwise, please share ( :

I had that message regarding my "ship from" address for a couple days and then it disappeared. I just printed as I normally do and my packages shipped as always with no problems.

Have you tried creating a new shipping profile (the "one you use 2.0") and then maybe test it out on certain listings to see what happens?
Goodness, I'm reluctant to even suggest testing something right now.

Is it possible that your return address zip code & your ships-from zip code are different? And for some reason this is suddenly enough to gum up the works?

It appears you are using Etsy's first class flats & letter labels. They do quality for star seller but the tracking is not thru USPS but thru Pitney Bowes. Many say it's more like a tracking guesstimate but anyway it is an affordable shipping option. I've never purchased anything where a shop used this label service so I'm not sure what buyers receive in the way of emails. I'm sure they get the usual "shipped" email, that might include an EDD? But after that, I don't know. 

One would hope that Etsy does stay on top of buyers who might abuse the purchase protection program.

I am not changing anything with my listings at the moment. Too much volatility and bugs at the moment.

I have decided to not change/list anymore items since Etsy has decided paying them money (listing fee , buying labels) was too easy before.

that's the best.  I just cringe now when I read posts about changing bank account, address, email, etc and then their account is closed or limited somehow.  Don't touch anything!

for sure.  that's one reason I definitely have separate browsers for each shop.  Signing in and out was getting glitchy and it was too easy to be seen as Suspicious Activity.

Yes, I had that warning that MY shipping address was unconfirmed when I printed out a label earlier this week.  I ignored and shipped anyway, because  I echo the sentiment about not trusting the venue.  I trust Etsy zero percent right now.  I am in a holding pattern regarding where I want to go from here and how much distrust and frustration I want to deal with at this point.  I have the next 4 months to decide if I want to continue my 16 year old vintage shop.  In the meantime, I am experimenting with creating new directions.

Use Pirate Ship.  That might solve your issue.  Even if you don't want to use it permanently, you could do it until you get the Etsy labels glitch fixed.
