Star seller status affected after entering tracking number on 2 of 3 items being shipped to same address. 2 items purchased March 10, 1 item purchased March 11, all items shipped together March 13. All shipped on time, delivered showing on the March 11 purchase and which was the order the label was purchased from and pre-transit on the other 2 items. When you go to official USPS site all show delivered. This has affected our star seller rating. We were 100% on shipping and something is wrong on the Etsy end of things. Hope they can get this fixed soon.

As of March 21, our engineers updated all USPS shipping labels that were purchased since the start of this issue. All labels that were stuck in the ‘Pre-Transit’ state due to this issue are now displaying the proper tracking information. @Mocahete I'm sorry this is happening to you as well. There have been many Threads about this INACCURATE and MISLEADING "Pre-Transit" mess. Here is a large one; these Sellers have been desperately seeking help with no resolution to this.
(Admin last posted about this issue in Technical Issues one week ago and has not come back to update the Community).
It is not only affecting star seller, it can concern a buyer if they check tracking on Etsy. They think their order has shipped but it shows pre-transit. It makes the seller seem dishonest. Sad it still says pre-transit even after delivery. Etsy really needs to take care of this.

It's pretty common for me to get an order and then another from someone who adds one more thing. I ship these together and have never had an issue. I do copy and paste the tracking number to avoid typos. I haven't had one in the last month or so, so mine may predate the pre-transit issue.
I find it baffling that the same tracking number would have different status. That makes me think its either a typo in the tracking numbers or Etsy only checking and updating the first one. Seems like this would be a clue for the Etsy programmers.

Yes, I hope this is fixed soon. Both orders that show pre-transit on Etsy show delivered on USPS.
I have same problem with ship together this week, Mine says missing tracking, Nothing is missing tracking. Pre-transits are wrong. 6 of them and it has affected my shop at end of last month and more this month. I am sure they will get it straightened out. I have no scan up on one at all, so I am not sure about it at all (as it says not shipped). It could be just amiss at the postal service or in the carriers truck unnoticed. I don't know , but it is really playing serious with the numbers. Guess just some more time to get it all straightened out. Customers have been concerned about the shipping so the shipping badge can definitely alter sales and produce false image of a shop. At least they message me concerning it. All we can do at this time is try to keep up with the USPS movement, and call the carriers. I assume. I am sure Etsy is working on these things.

This didn't use to be an issue when combining shipping when you put the same tracking number in for the second order. But now I've seen several people mentioning this and recently had that happen too. Now I'm also having the dreaded "pre-transit" issue which is affecting my Star Seller status. Just got the message yesterday saying my shipping is down to 85% because I have several orders with no tracking. I checked all of those orders on the USPS website and all have been delivered! So frustrating.
