Hey, so I just got a new phone number and no longer have access to the old phone number. I cannot get signed in on the new phone because it’s trying to text a code to my old phone. Does anyone know how I can fix this issue?
@TaiDyeStudios: Well, the two factor authorization (2FA) is doing what it is supposed to. At the time you set up 2FA you were offered the opportunity to save backup codes. If you did that you can use one of those to log in and change your 2FA telephone number.
If you do not have those codes, you will need to contact Etsy and have them disable the 2FA.
Did you save the backup codes in print? THat is what you are supposed to do with the codes.
Do you have access to your computer or laptop?
