I have a feeling my star rating for message response has gone down because of a glitch in the system!
Anyone else experiencing this?
Even after I respond to a *new* message within the time allowed, it's still highlighted in blue above that I need to respond (even though I have)... /it's not giving that "great job ...da da da" that usually happens after a quick response.
So now my message response is below what it needs to be for star seller even though it's inaccurate. Uh, not fair!
Download a message CSV file and see what they think you are missing.
It sometimes takes 24-48 hours for that "blue" highlighted info to go away.
So I doubt it's that message if you replied to it within 24 hours.
Someone posted here that those did not count against you. I think it was the tea cozy lady.
I don't know why it seems so hard for Etsy to make things work properly.

Correct, it doesn't count against you.
I had a "new" message a few days ago and it showed that blue text for around 36 hours.
But my message rate also showed 100%.
@SurfandtheCity: Based on the numerous threads about this, the new message banner not going away appears to be only a user interface glitch is not affecting any stats such as Star Seller.
There have, however, been reports about other Message issues that are impacting a shop negatively. Have you checked the appropriate CSV file on your Star Seller page to confirm which new threads Etsy thinks you did not reply to within 24 hours?
