anyone have any thoughts for a place or places for a some days for pop up shops?

i don't know what it's like here, but in san francisco my pop up shop was loyally followed and i was never hassled about any permits or anything.

have any of you done this? would you like to join in on a day in the near future? i don't know the town , but if you do i'd love to do it. please feel free to give me a call, 415-420-9542, or 623-933-6657 in Sun City.

Unfortunately in Arizona, one must have a business license in order to sell.

And many of the cities have strict ordinances about pop ups and even stricter requirements for food vendors.

What about street sales, like garage sales, only set up in a more business like area on a Sunday? Do biz licenses apply then too?

How do you all usually sell or find a place to consign? I'd love to either get into Phoenix or some boutiques ( if they exist) out here in the north west valley in the next couple of weeks if at all possible.

Love to hear thots from any and all familiar with this area.

In Arizona you are required to have a business license to do any sort of business, regardless of where or what you are selling.

You are also required to have a sales tax permit (I forget exactly what it is called) and submit your taxes on a regular basis.

If you contact the Tax office on Munroe Street they can give you all the details.

If you want to get into boutiques, I would suggest that you take your portfolio and your line sheet and talk specifically to the boutiques that you are interested in.
