AVL/WNC peeps: Friendly neighborhood Code-as-Craft app developer here, inviting you for a beer or coffee!

Hey y'all! My name's Annika, and I'm an Etsy app developer in Asheville, NC. I've been active in the Etsy community for about 18 months now, developing an app we're hoping to launch via the Etsy app gallery in late June.

My current project is an app that will create a complete, *instant* website from content in your Etsy shop, so you become much more Google friendly, more social-media friendly, and more scalable...while remaining on the Etsy ecommerce platform you're familiar with. I believe our websites are beautiful and easy to make (it takes about 5 minutes on a decently fast wifi connection), but there's always things to fine-tune and improve.

While developing this app, I've found it really useful to meet actual Etsy sellers in person, to see how well (or sometimes *not* well) they are able to navigate various parts of the user interface we're putting together. That helps us build a better and more appropriate product, that more people will enjoy using.

In the month before we launch, I'm trying to meet as many Etsy sellers as possible, to check usability stuff, and to learn about your Etsy habits.

If you're in Asheville or the surrounding area, I'd love to invite you for a coffee (or a Wedge Iron Rail IPA if you prefer), and talk to you for about an hour about basic things you do with Etsy, what Etsy apps you might already be using, and challenges you face in the marketplace. If you already have a website, I want to talk to you, too! Learning about what choices people make when getting a website is also really important information for us to have.

This isn't a pitch or a sales call, just an opportunity for me to learn and get more connected to the community I aim to serve.

And hey, free coffee! Free beer!

If you're interested, convo me, and I'll happily work with your schedule.
