I wanted to share my experience and ask for advice. I sell custom-made handmade items that require clients to contact me before ordering.
Recently, a buyer from Latin America placed a €2,000 order without contacting me and without specifying any details. Immediately afterward, they requested to cancel and get a full refund.
I’m concerned this could be a disturbance scam meant to block funds or create financial stress for sellers. I’d like to warn others in case they experience the same.
Has anyone had similar situations? How did you handle it?
