Hi, I just ran across this group. My husband and I started collecting rocks and minerals about two years ago, learned to do cabs, and I learned to facet this past year. I've been on Etsy for a while, but don't currently sell anything rock related. But it's neat to find a group that is lapidary-related on Etsy. Looking forward to being part of the group! Hi, Rebeca! What types of stones are you and your husband cutting? Do you think you might sell your finished stones on Etsy at some point?

Hi Gary,

Thanks for the response! My husband has been trying out different stones to get the hang of it. He's done some tiger's eye, moss agate, some jaspers, and some other stones. We purchased a stack of cabbing slabs at the last show we were at in Feb, but have had some family emergencies since then and haven't gotten back to cabbing. I was working with quartz for faceting. We hope to get into it more and be able to sell on Etsy. Still have a lot to learn. :)
