I posted the below Idea as a reply on another thread. ot sure if it would be read so I decided to repost on a new Thread. Here it is. (with one small edit)........ This group does not look active, but I will share my thoughts anyway. If someone reads this, please feel free to respond. I live in the St George area and I agree we need something here. I have had this idea/dream for a couple of years but have not done anything with it. I agree with Don from dlcgems that we should do something indoors. The summers here are way to hot for me to to shop outside or have a shop outside and the winters are to wet and cold for most. I know ladies that would love to go to craft fairs but the weather prohibits them. I envision myself and maybe one or two other crafters/artist combine their resources and talents and open an indoor art/craft fair that is year round. Start small and let it build. We could rent out spaces on a monthly/yearly contract to have the variety needed and to help cover the rent and expenses and have the vendors man their own booths, OR... have a central register with vendor friendly prices so the artist does not have to be there. We can showcase an artist monthly and have meet and greet with the designer/artist. We need to focus on presentation so the consumer will want come back and bring their friends so decorating for the seasons will be important for all vendors. I have so much more details, but I think you get the Idea. What are your thoughts? Do you like the idea? Any Interest? Thanks for reading Tess
