Proofing

Does anyone send proofs to their customers to give them an idea of what the finished product will look like? What's the easiest way to do so? I was just going to write out the phrase on white paper and send it to my client, but not sure if there is a more professional looking way.

Hello,yes we send proofs on certain ranges.
We originally just used to copy an image made in photoshop,but then i realised that if i took good pics of the sign before i signwrote it i could then open that image up in photoshop and then put the writing over the top of the image...actually looks like the completed sign.
