Failed Message - Bad Request

Help! I'm trying to add the following text to every listing in my shop:

***CHRISTMAS IN JULY SALE IS NOW ON!!! ENTER COUPON CODE "JULY2015" DURING CHECKOUT AND SAVE 40% ON EVERY ITEM IN STOCK.***

In the preview, it's looks great, but when I try to apply it, I get a Failed - Bad Request message. I've tried it with and without the *** and I've tried doing it by section instead of applying to all. Nothing is working. Do I have some illegal characters in it or something?

Re: Failed Message - Bad Request

UPDATE: I'm get Failed - Bad Request when I try to make any bulk change. I've used the program before and it worked great. I'm obviously doing something wrong. Is there an FAQ anywhere!

Re: Failed Message - Bad Request

Could you please send me the shopshaper_log.txt file to shopshaper.office@gmail.com so that I can see what the problem could be?

Re: Failed Message - Bad Request

I've spent WAY too much time on this crap. I will have to either find another option or do it manually.

Re: Failed Message - Bad Request

Hi, our customers get a "bad request" error when they have overdue bills on Etsy. Could it be the reason in your case, too?
If not, please send me the shopshaper_log.txt file so that I can identify the problem.

Re: Failed Message - Bad Request

I'm having this same problem. One thing I noticed is that it won't allow exclamation points to be added to listing titles - it doesn't even give an error message, but clicking "apply changes" just does nothing. It did allow me to add text to the beginning of my item descriptions, just not the title. My Etsy account is definitely not overdue. Is there a fix to this? I see the request for the shopshaper_log.txt file but I don't know what that is or where I would find that?

Re: Failed Message - Bad Request

Hi Rose, the log file is located at the same place you put your ShopShaper app.

Also, it's blank - 0 bytes.

Re: Failed Message - Bad Request

I figured it out on my own. Etsy does not allow more than 3 all-caps words in the listing titles. However, it does allow exclamation points so that is an error on Shopshaper's part - it doesn't seem to be allowing symbols (I tried both exclamation points and asterisks).

Re: Failed Message - Bad Request

Hi Rose. Yes, Etsy changed the character regulations, but we were not yet able to update ShopShaper accordingly. Sorry for the inconvenience
