Error When Opening Program

I'm on a 2017 Mac running OS X El Capitan. I download the zip from the homepage, unzip and try to open the ShopShaper program and receive an error saying, "Unable to load Java Environment." Help!!

Previously Apple shipped their computers with the Java runtime engine already installed, but later abandoned that practice.

Downloading and installing the newest Java version on your other computer should solve your issue and we recommend downloading a JDK (which is a bigger file) rather than the JRE (JDK includes JRE). Here is the link: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html
