Re: Welcome!!

Hello everyone,
I am from Detroit and I have been selling on Etsy since December of last year. I wanted to turn my candle making hobby into a business. I also have my candles in boutique and I'm looking for more boutique to carry my products. I love making Candle melts/tarts because they are so much better than the jar. I will also be at Craft show in Dearborn on March 23 hope to see some of you there.

Re: Welcome!!

Hello everyone. My name is Tonya. I opened my shop a few months ago, but still have not made any sales on Etsy. I was able to sell a few of my products in person at my future father-in-law's work party. I am a knitter and spinner. Recently I have begun Crocheting and making soap. I also plan to start weaving soon. Right now my shop is not well-stocked, but I plan to post new stuff in the next few days. I really hope to add more variety. I would really like to try some craft fares this year, but I am not really sure how to find them. So far, not much luck, but I'll keep trying.

Hello Eveyone,
My name is Joi and I'm new to Etsy I specialize in gourmet popcorn. I make a delicious carmel corn with cashews and pecans topped with a creamy milk chocolate, white chocolate drizzle. I also have a great Kettle corn and I am starting a candy line of popcorn the first one on my shops list is called Tropical Punch popcorn. Everything is made from scratch...the popcorn is freshly made from corn kernals and the carmel is the best homemade carmel you've ever tasted. Visit my shop guys and tell me what you all think. :-)

Re: Welcome!!

Hi everyone!
I'm new here. My name is Bree and I own a small knit and crochet company out of the U.P. (the snow is finally melting, by the way. Still don't trust it completely.)
I sell knit and crochet goods, but my best sellers are coffee cozies featuring the UP on them. I've never sold on Etsy before, most of my business is done through small boutiques and on the FB page, but I thought this may be the best thing to do as my business is growing.
I look forward to getting to know all of you wonderful artists on here!

Re: Welcome!!

Hi everyone~ My name is Mary, and I live in the U.P., where we are expecting 4-8 inches of snow on Friday, lol. I make pin back badges with all sorts of things on them, and just opened shop a few days ago- I'm a "stay at home", mainly because there isn't a whole lot of jobs where I'm at (Iron Mountain)- when I do work, I'm a paralegal- but I have a few sticks in the fire, etsy and shop envy being a couple of them, lol--I'm looking forward to interaction on this particular board, with all of the other Michigander etsians!

Re: Welcome!!

Hi everyone! I'm from Ann Arbor and am just recently getting back into painting. I am currently working in watercolors I stopped for a long time but it feels good to get back into the swing of things. I'm looking forward to seeing all the creative work being done in Michigan and hoping to be able to support some local craftsman.

Re: Welcome!!

Hey Everyone,

I just joined the team today. I live in Saline, Mi near Ann Arbor. My Etsy shop focuses mainly on my Upcycled jewelry and French Technique work, although I also make upcycled mosaics (there may be an Etsy shop for them in the future, once I get the hang of this one) and teach art around the area.

I have been selling in galleries and shows for a while now, and was only persuaded into opening the Etsy shop about a year and a half ago.

I would love to hear what anyone can tell me about this team. How often do members post new listings? Do other members provide feedback anywhere? Anything you want to tell me would be appreciated.

Have a crazy creative day,
Kelsey

Re: Welcome!!

Hi everybody.

My Etsy shop is My Raw Rarities. You can also find me on pinterest, Facebook and on my website www.myrawrarities.com. Here, this is a sister store to our Antique Salvage warehouse in Union City, Michigan, where we open our doors the first Sunday of every month to the public. It is quite a social event. Check us out on Facebook, Antique Salvage, for more information.

On Etsy I am specializing in vintage items. I am new here and learning quite a bit as I go. Thanks for taking the time to read about what makes me tick and I hope to do business with you soon.

This thread is a great idea to help promote business in the area. I'm thrilled to be involved.
