I'm from Grand Rapids and sell mostly jewelry here on Etsy, about 58 jewelry listings. I'd like to have more sales, just made 2 sales yesterday and 2 last year, I've recently been trying to promote my Etsy shop more. I've made a lot of sales last year on another site Eb*y, and also had a sale at a consignment shop in suburban GR.

Can I tell you about other great teams that will help promote a little? Top Treasury Team and Circle Clicking Team really help get more views to our items.

I'm from a little town called Brown City, it is located in the thumb of Michigan. I started selling on etsy about 2 months ago and it has been slow but I really like the community. My sister and I crochet and knit, which is what we sell on etsy. Right now we are working on Granny Square lapghans. We like lapghans because how fast they work up. I am hoping that we can get more sales here shortly. We are also looking at doing some craft shows but this tends to be the wrong time of year for crafts shows.

I am always looking for someone elses input on my Etsy store to help me grow and get more sales. Again thank you for adding us to your group.

It seems that I may be the veteran, so any questions I can answer I am happy to.

I have been selling on etsy since 2008. I had a previous store name on etsy that had around 500 sales when I closed it and re-opened under the name Spoccdesign. My current store is around 475 sales so far. It takes time to get your name out and to get the hang of selling and photographing. I am still learning myself!

I have taken a look around your stores and you both have very nice items.

Hello, I am Sheep. My hubby and I have both lost our jobs here in Michigan at a time in life when we were expecting things to get easier. We have a farm and animals to feed. We are not leaving ths state, all of our kids are here. So we make ends meet, by requiring very little, Etsy sales and odd jobs for the hubby. I have lupus and have applied for disability. I am really unable to work outside the home.

I strongly believe in promoting the American products, in particular, Michigan, which has been extremely hard hit. Michigan has alot to offer, I would love to help bring it back to life.

Hi everyone!! I am the newest member. I currently live in Hastings (45m south of Grand Rapids) but spent the last 10 years on the East side of the state in Grand Blanc (South of Flint). I moved to Hastings 3 years ago bc I met my husband, got married, and am now a stay-at-home-mom to our beautiful 2yo daughter.
I started crocheting when I was 5yo (so it's been 30y now) & branched out to other wonderful crafts through out the years.
I opened my Etsy shop on Nov 11 2011 (11/11/11, pretty cool!!), and am still learning the ropes on how to navigate/promote/sell etc. So any helpful ideas would be very appreciated!!

We are Rob and Brenda, and we have been selling on Etsy for 2 years. Our sales have been quite slow, but are hoping by joining a local team that we can draw some attention to our shop. My mother (Brenda) and I started a small nursery and garden center in 2011, on her property. We are in Albion, Michigan. I have had an Etsy store of my own, selling vintage, for a few years. I have really enjoyed selling on here. All the people are great! I decided to open an Etsy store for the greenhouse business, The Perennial Connection, in part for advertisement and in hopes of adding to our sales.
