How to get more buyers

Hi, We recently (early July) decided to put more effort into our etsy shop. I am still slowly working away at having better pictures as of September for all our postings as well as adding more listings of current product. We also have a website but were advised that etsy is a good way to get international notice. Let me know what you think we could do to make our shop better? are our titles good? Should I have the pictures listed together that are of similar product but different size. We finally had 6 sales in last 30 days but nothing in the last week. Do we just need to be more patient?? Any help would be great!

For a new shop, 6 items in 30 days is good! I wouldn't worry about slow periods (none in the last week) - Etsy sales are usually spotty, even for the more active Etsy shops.

I definitely think more pictures would be good, at least for the listing I checked (faux leather sleeve shirt) there are only 2 photos. I think it's better to show the product from all angles, etc, and try to duplicate what the buyer would actually see/feel if they had the product in their hands in real life.

And yes, I do think patience will help. My friend who has a very active etsy shop said that it took her about a year to start getting pretty steady sales. Part of it, at least it seems, is that once your products get a lot of views/sales/faves, then you get bumped higher up in search results.

I think you have a nice looking shop.

In regards to your photos, I would say try having a few more of the clothes modeled by actual people/babies etc ? To show potential customers what the clothes would look like on an actual person.
Remember Etsy is a very visual site and the photos is usually what sells the product/s.

I think your photos are great, but I agree with the above comments that having models for your first photos would be great.

The other thing is, how active are you on instagram? That can be a great way to get attention on your clothes, and people seem to love accounts that post baby/kids clothing.

Hi, I think you should adjust some thumbnails of your pictures as some of them are incomplete and maybe use more pictures that has the babies. Also, I think you can strengthen the description of titles, and make sure the category is right.

thanks everyone. I will work on getting more pictures of kids in our clothing!! I'll check out my titles. I was wondering if they were good or not.

I love your shop!I love the pics and beautiful work ! I think possibly a couple more photos maybe different settings or angle.Great job
