This is an FYI.  In case anyone else also missed it, the USPS has increased the price of Flats (large envelopes) at the end of January 2020. 1 ounce is still $1 2 ounce is now $1.20 3 ounce is now $1.40 Just realized I've been mailing things with the wrong postage for 2 months!  Fortunately nothing was returned to me. Hi everyone,   I need help with international shipping.  I started selling used sewing patterns last spring.  I usually mail them in a 12 x 9" manilla envelope.  For domestic mail it can qualify as a large envelope as long as it's less than 3/4" thick, which they mostly are, but for international it has to go as a parcel if it's more than 1/4" thick.  So I have been charging $16 shipping to other countries except Canada which I charge slight less.  It usually cost me about $14 in postage using the Etsy app or at the post office. To my surprise I've still has the occasional person order a pattern at that cost, but this past week I've had two different people in Europe question the high cost.  I've noticed that other people charge closer to $6.  How do you do that?  What kind of envelope are you using?  Can you use Etsy shipping or do you have to go into the post office?
