Share with us the things your creating at the moment, are you sewing already for Halloween & the upcoming Holidays? We are having a fashion shoot in 2 weeks so you can image what is going on in our lives sewing everyday and night getting ready; these can be the most stressful yet exciting moments! I am new to this group so sorry if you've heard this all before. I feel like I'm going in a million directions all at once. I am constantly working on upcycle projects mostly with denim. I have invested in several vintage patterns from the 6o's and am working on resizing them (ugh... so tedious) and making minor finishing adjustments that are more appealing to modern dress wearers. I have more fabric than is good for me just laying around. I am working on projects for myself and my daughter mostly dresses and blouses trying to improve my finishing and tailoring skills (thank God for youtube). My serger is my new best friend. I want to dabble in decorative thread and hand embroidery techniques for unique garment embellishment purposes.
