Share with us the things your creating at the moment, are you sewing already for Halloween & the upcoming Holidays? We are having a fashion shoot in 2 weeks so you can image what is going on in our lives sewing everyday and night getting ready; these can be the most stressful yet exciting moments! Well here it is 2:16 am (ET) and I'm still up. Have been working on my black and white nurses' uniforms and aprons. I like to work on at least 4 at a time, kinda assembly line. And it goes a lot faster that way. By Sunday my goal is to have 20 uniforms and 10 aprons listed. Don't know if I'm going to make it. That's 2 days away. Working hard to may my goal. If I do it I'm giving myself a much needed rest in Atlantic city over night.

Just started a new item for my shop of up-cycled items from vintage fabric, linens, towels, and doilies. I had a customer requisite a zippered wallet from an embroidered dresser scarf. So now I am adding them to my shop. I have one right now that I made from a 1940's Cannon red flowered towel. I really like how they look. They are zippered shut on the outside. The inside has 8 credit card pockets. To full length pockets and a zippered pocket that can hold your change or bills. I think I would just carry the wallet and not put it in a purse. They are to pretty to hide in a purse.

I desperately need to work on better pictures, and I have tons of fabrics waiting for new projects. The last two purses I have finished to but in my shop get sold immediately-- not a bad problem to have, but a little frustrating that I cannot get my shop built up.
I also find that I have a 'finishing' issue. I worked on a purse all day long today, got down to the handle and the last touches on the lining, and I set it aside....to finish later....arrgghhh why dont I just finish it then LOL.

tomorrow is a hobo bag with a cream and black rose print, and a newsprint fabric.....I love them both!
And still looking for a 'go to' wallet pattern that I like, I want to add an 'upgrade' option to my purses for matching wallets, mini wallet, journal, or coffee sleeve
