Sell On Etsy App for iPad

Hi,
A technical question:
I would like to remove my shop updates, reason being that with the newlayout it seems to me that it is adding to the interminable length of the scroll down. I also see that those can be edited only with the sale on Etsy app.

Is it safe to downlaod it on my iPad? My question may sound strange but I have had disastrous experiences with updates of different kinds on iPad before. Am hyper cautious now of disrupting the known...

Can anyone let me know if it would work?

Hi!

All I can say is that I have had the Sell On Etsy app on both iPads and no issues.

If I have issues, I call Apple customer support, and they have been very helpful.

I will be calling them again soon because my iCloud isn't working the way it should...

Have you done the latest IOS update? My machines keep asking me to do it, but I haven't. I would like to research it first.

Thank you for your answer. Good to know this app is working on iPad.

No I have not done the latest IOS update, and certainly won't for 2 reasons.
I did the previous one and it was a total mess. Amongst other things, I could not access my shop anymore. That is why I am so scared now to do anything.
I was then in Thailand. Called Apple assistance back home. They could not help. Even suggested my iPad needed to be replaced!
It was awful for days.
Fortunately my iPad ended up into the hands of a local Thai computer wizzard who re established good order. He told me that this IOS uodates are known to create lots of troubles...

Then I have a friend Ho more recently last winter did the uodate. He cant used his iPad anymore..

So if you ask me about these updates, I won't be one to encourage you to go ahead 🙂

I just read that this iPad update is REALLY bad. Apple has, in fact, pulled it:

I also found on the forum a thread pertaining to Sell on Etsy app on iPad.
Seemed like trouble also for some.
I will abstain.
Was able to delete my uodates from my cellphone where I had some app which allowed to put them on in yhe first place.

I feel rhat with the new layout it is best to eliminate as much as possible..banner, featued listings and uodates to go to the essential.

I got rid of my featured listings.

I changed my banner to the new "cover" and did a "window shop" approach with the range of my merchandise.

I'm doing updates, one per day. They are free advertising and show up right in the middle of everyone's feed.

My goal is to keep mine varied and interesting. Along the line of Instagram, I would imagine. However, not being on Instagram, I am only guessing : )

Up to now I have had no trouble with IOS updates.
I use the Sell on Etsy app only for shop updates. I think they add interest, I suppose it depends what you are selling, mine let the customer judge how accurate my images are.

I see some of you have issues with the Etsy App too!
I was using it with no problems, until Etsy's big change in April. Now, I have trouble accessing my photos when doing a listing. I just happened to get a survey on that app from Etsy and mentioned that problem, and days later I was able to see my photos.
Today, however, I tried to do a listing using the app and again no access to pictures.
I also see if I start a listing using the app and leave it as a draft, I can't finish it using my Sarfi browser.
What a waste of time that sell on Etsy app is. Sometimes I am unable to fav items too, as it says I must be logged in, when I already am.
Disappointing!!
About updates, I see very few from other shops on my home page. Why is that? I know others use that feature, and Joanne, I have never seen one of yours, darn it.
Any tips what to do, or just forget Etsy app and use Safari browser to list items?

When the Etsy starts acting up, about every other month, I just delete the app and reinstall it.

For me it is essential for the app to be working, as I am doing daily shop updates.
