Re: Supadupa Support Thread

I have one (free) but have SO neglected it. Need to get back onto it one of these days. Time is such a problem, though.

Re: Supadupa Support Thread

My web site is through them.
Love it.
They have added more payment processors in addition to Paypal. You get to choose which ones , if any to add.
There are some minimal fees associated with adding the additional payment processor(s) of you choosing, but at least we now have choices.
They have also changed the shipping set up features.
I haven't had a chance to check those out either.

But I'm chugging right along there with what I consider very good sales.

Re: Supadupa Support Thread

I got all my currently photographed stock on mine. Just waiting for some nice days when I don't have anything else to do, to do a photo shoot.

In the meantime I did add a review/feedback widget. Now I just need some reviews. ;P

Where and how did you add that Bab's, I am way behind the curve on those things.

I know about widgets, but didn't know I could add one to supa.

Re: Supadupa Support Thread

This one's a third party deal. It's called GetKudos.

https://getkudos.me/

Very new, and still a little wet behind the ears but it's free and seems to work. It actually can be used on any site where you have the access to the code.

It can be set up to draw in mentions on Twitter and Facebook, reviews made on site via the widget, and custom reviews you create (I created one with a link to my Etsy reviews). They all go to a dashboard where you can decide which ones you want to make public.

It's not perfect. If you get a lot of mentions you have to sift through them for the relevant ones. What I like best about it, though is that it doesn't hound your customers to leave reviews (as in it doesn't send them an email after they make a purchase). If they liked their purchase enough to return to the site - even months later - they can leave a review, then, if they wish.

I have the floating widget. You can see it here: http://croweshea.mysupadupa.com Like I said I don't have any real reviews, yet.

Re: Supadupa Support Thread

Hmm. thanks for that Babs- I like that you can incorporate your etsy reviews easily with that widget. So you have to approve a review before it shows up, right?

Re: Supadupa Support Thread

Yes, you have to approve reviews, by making the crowns gold. :)

Since all my Etsy reviews are on the same page I decided to keep it simple. I used the custom review template, uploaded an image of one of the items I sold and created a link to the reviews page.
