To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Michael, and I have been an Etsy Seller since October 2017. My shop name is MichaelLovesPhysics. I am writing in reference to a question that I have about this red snowflake refrigerator magnet, that I have listed on my Etsy shop.
I am trying to do research into the market for my products, and who my target customer base is, so that I can have a better idea of how much money I could possibly make by selling these products, because my Etsy sales have been very low ever since I started back in 2017. Since I am vaccinated against the coronavirus, and since I received my coronavirus booster vaccine, I am hoping to sell my items at an in-person craft fair, a year from now. Hopefully by that time, the coronavirus pandemic will be over, and the Omicron coronavirus variant wave will have ended. What demographics would my target customer base consist of, for this particular type of item? Could you please let me know?
Here is a link to my Etsy listing:
Thanks for your consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Michael

I don't know therefore NO COMMENT !
Hi Michael. I checked out your lovely store. Cool idea to center it around physics! I love the artwork photographs. One thought I had to hopefully increase your sales is perhaps work on editing your photos. I can see the flash or an overhead light in the photos. At first glance I thought it was part of the photos, then noticed many had them same lighting in the photos, and realized it must be reflecting off the glass or something. In the seller handbook with photo tips, Etsy recomends using no flash for listing photos.
The magnet is cute. I would say possibly the 20+ female shoppers would be a good starting point for your target audience. Do you have a little white jewelry box you could set it in to possibly offer it more as a gift ready item? Just gives a buyer reasons to think outside rhe purchase for themselves and may open up other avenues into people they may gift to?
One other thought I had, have you ever considered making postcards with your awesome photos? Postcards are becoming increasingly popular thanks for sites like Postcrossing. Postcard enthusiasts love themed items and a "set" of postcards would be something that may be of interest and also may help spread the word and lead buyers to your other items. I don't know that I helped much with your question about in person sales. I offer this as a fellow etsy seller so please don't feel that I am being critical at all. I really do feel like you hit a niche and just need to find a foothold and you will be good to go!!
