About the Instructor:
Hey there!! I’m Kate, I’m the maker and the mama behind the hook at Hazel Bea. I started my shop in 2016 when my youngest daughter had some health issues requiring me to leave my full-time job. I needed to earn an income and turning my pregnancy coping hobby into a business seemed kind of crazy, but I dove in and learned everything I could about being a successful seller.. and now here I am.
I love to help other learn the ins and out of Etsy too! I’ve been organizing in-person and virtual markets as well as teaching workshops with Etsy U for the past three years, I am so excited to be part of this program again!

About the Instructor:
Originally founded in 2015, Winding Wick Candles is the brainchild of Dallas native Tiana Coats. After sitting in her cubicle at her desk job, Tiana dreamed of starting her own business, and to move away from the ho-hum life of a 9-5. After identifying her creative interests, Tiana came up with the idea to start a candle business and a few weeks later quit her job to pursue Winding Wick Candles full time.
