Help! I started listing the end of March. My view count is little per item (maybe 6 in a 24 hr period) on most. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I make decorative pillow covers. Not real unique like so many other great artists out there but people are always searching for home decor.

how often are you listing? I don't have tons of view, but at least a few new each day. I opened my shop in April. I try to list at least 1 new item a day if not 2. I also make sure I have featured items at the top of my site and change those out almost daily so it keeps it interesting. The other thing I have tried is taking different pictures of the same items and that has helped too. There's always room for improvement is what I keep telling myself. It is disheartening though from one newbie to another :O)

Thanks! I have done everything you mentioned. List daily 2 items. Re-List old. Re-take pics. UUGH! I know there are a TON of pillow makers out there but there a TON of people searching as well. I will keep pluggin along. I like a challenge!

the other thing I tried was to make a treasury list as a way to let people know I exist in the Etsy world! It was fun at the very least :o)

Don't forget to also have sales and maybe even a giveaway (a smaller pillow) to create some attention for your shop! Your pillows are SO adorable. Also, I know I've heard this is happening more with Etsy allowing the larger pictures in the shop. People have been known to skim through and look instead of clicking on the actual pillows.

They're so cute though!! And Belle, yours is adorable as well! I can't pick a fave :)

I have the same problem.. I'm going to try to relist every day from now on. I read somewhere that it is best to relist between 6-11 pm (Central Time).

And about that giveaway.. I would like to know how you do that too. Someone just convo'd me on etsy asking me to be a part of her blog giveaway and I gladly said yes. But is there any way to do it on my own, rather than having someone ask me to be a part of theirs?

Thanks BrixtonStudios! I LOVE your Eiffel Tower cards and just favorited them. They are great. I might try to do a giveaway or run a promotion...good suggestions. CaliforniaLivinHome...I agree with everyone else, your pillows are fantastic!!

also...saying your product isn't as unique=competitive as the other pillow covers on etsy tells me that you should make your pillow covers special..ie.as unique=competitive...rethink your product...

I get most of my views from participating in BNR's I am in one today that has no min buy in. I jave gotten several sales from them to and even though they are not high proced items I feel like I am getting exposure and building up good feedback.
