How do you post a photo to a discussion thread?

Hi everyone, I'm new to the world of Etsy, discussions, blogging, tweeting and well all of it! I've been doing my best to get acquainted to everything but I can't seem to figure out how to add a photo to a discussion thread. I've looked all over in the FAQ and tried a search, but have had no luck. I see lots of discussions that are titled "Promote your items here", "Show off your new items" and noticed that many post with a photo of your new items, therefore allowing it to be seen quickly and easily. How do you post that photo of your new item?

I just copy and paste the browser/link for the page of the item, into the post a reply box, and the picture magically appears.

Although I have noticed that for some people are some times just the link appears instead of the picture of the item??

Thanks Jake!

Yeah I learned you have to post the entire URL including the HTTPS in order for the listing to appear like yours above. Maybe some folks don't include it which results in just the link appearing.
