I have more than 100 visitors a day but no sales. Does anyone had such problems? May be bad photos, description or high price? Please, share your experience
Your necklaces look great! One thing I noticed was the thumbnails of the necklaces are cut off - I learned that when taking pictures leave some additional space on the 1st photo because the thumbnail automatically zooms in on the picture. You are able to edit (crop) them once you upload the picture. Also, if the picture is blurry, take another one, I wouldn't post a blurry picture. This is what we are correcting now on Chicory Chicoroo- is the thumbnail images.

Sorry!! Someone called..as I was saying: that I know has been open for about a decade (if i remember right) and only has 80 products (with lots of custom options). I'm sure it took a long time for her to get there! Slow and steady is best though, if that darn turtle taught us anything 😉
Elena, I have no idea about prices. It's something I seriously struggle with. Personally though, I've decided to price at the low mid range (too low makes your product look cheap and will turn buyers away) and up them once I'm more established. Most of my sales are from valentines and I did put on a 50% sale (so ended up very cheap during most demand season, but didn't look it). I'm not sure if that made more sales, but I'm planing on keeping that pattern for a while. Another good seller for me at this early point is custom options which I don't charge extra for because I figure if one person wants it, many more do too and I want my customers to tell me what they want. But you can take or leave this runon since I've not much more idea of what I'm doing than anyone on here. Marmalade can be a great tool for pricing info. It costs money to use that feature but I think it might be helpful for you (you can always cancel once you get the info you want... hope that was helpful
I'm happy to have constructive criticism on my shop also if you guys have any. (I do know my greeting and story need a lot of work, so I am on that... tomorrow... or the day after tomorrow... or next month..procrastination is a good tool for a new shop owner, right?😜

Hi Tonya 😊! Thank you for taking the time to look at my shop and give me feedback 🤗! I'll revisit my photos and look at some other angles. It looks as though you can only add 8 photos but I'll double check. Pricing was Tricky? The Jewelry Market is so competitive so I settled mid range but I'll rethink that; as I use good quality components and the time quotient to make the pieces 😊.
I also would love to get feedback on my gallery. 😀 One question is how can i chnage the name of the gallery? I am using Etsy app. Being a mom of young kids, i know its hard for me to set up art in proper angles and take nice pictures but I will surely try that soon. I am new to Etsy and kind of already giving up on this idea. But as a hobby i have made many paintings and necklaces+ earrings, which are just sitting somewhere and if I can sell those that will be great to support my kids. I would love to hear your feedback.
Ok banasree, you could probably give us all some awesome tips - you have so many followers!😄 I LOVE your 1st work station photo. It's a little brighter than your other pictures, so it draws me in...have you thought about using that for your banner? I think it would awesome, but what do you think guys?? Are you using a white box to take your pics? I've heard they're amazing for jewelry because the light is always the same, making it bright and clear? My sister is an amazing photographer (I definitely need to use her for a good portion of my own bad photos) and she highly recommends a white box
Mila, I'm sorry, I do see now that you have great pics of your jackets. I don't Have any ideas for you except I've heard "pictures bring customers to your shop, descriptions sell them". Maybe someone on here has great description tips? I could use that too. I know some "positive emotional" wording is encouraged. It's one of the things I need to do serious research on myself. Hello, I’m new to Etsy. I read a few of the post and we seem to be having the same issue. I have had over 100 views but no purchases, my first couple of days on here. I added some sale promotions, hoping to get a few sales on my status. I’ve sold a few items outside of this site and had customer satisfaction. No luck here so far. Any suggestions?

Thanks a lot for your advise. I will try to add that picture to my banner. I used canva for my banner. It is very good. Check Canva.com. May be you know that already. You are right, white background is the best for jewelry. I have to change couple of my photos.

GG, gosh, I love you're product. Such an adordable idea❣ I know I sound like a broken record, but I'm going to have to say pictures again. I looked at your shop from a potential buyer POV and being a bit of an etsy browser/buyer dabbler (I wouldn't call it an addiction per se...;) I don't know why, but I wanted a mannequin display or an actual baby model. (Probably because those are my fav shops I buy from for my own kids though, so it's possible other's here will disagree and I'm just bias). Here's an example of what I'm talking about: https://www.etsy.com/listing/531645073 Speaking of my example, have you thought about making ribbon tutus? I made one for my youngest on her adoption day. They're ridiculously easy and Everyone LOVES them. Just a thought. Even if that idea sounds like hell (which, even not knowing you, I'm guessing it does, lol) just use her's (or another successful shop you love) to give you photo staging ideas. Remember your target audience is going to be mainly young moms, so gear your shop to them. Cute, bright, and happy is going to bring shoppers to you 🤗 good luck!
