Returning to Etsy after a not so good outcome

Hello Everyone!
I am returning to etsy in hopes of making some sales. I had a few items posted a year ago but didnt make not one sale. I'm not sure why. Maybe because I didn't join any groups or network enough, I'm not sure where I went wrong. But, I want to try again and try harder. I believe I have some nice and unique items. However, there is a lot to choose from on etsy. What I want to know is how to get more sales and put my business out there in this Etsy world? As far as pictures, tags and things. Anything. Has anyone been here before?

Hi! Welcome back. Love those hats!

I peeked at your shop and noticed a few tweaks you could make,

The pictures are what will sell your product. Yours seem dark on my phone and computer screen. Try natural light, By a window in the morning is what I like best, but experiment outside with different backgrounds.

You have a good start on your tags but try using multiword phrases instead of one word.
women = Hats for women
Men= Hats for men
Handmade = Handmade Hats
etc.

You may want to beef up your descriptions, policies, and shipping.
Making sure everything is clear. That sizing is listed on all items. And shipping and returns are clear and professional.

Again, Welcome back. Looking forward to seeing your success.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate those helpful tips. And it all sounds good. I will spend the next couple days retaking the photos and making the description juicy. Im not much of a writing but i guess i can save some things to copy and paste. Maybe that's how the pros do it, idk. Im also trying to reach an international crowd. Hoping things will living up on my page.

I was looking through your shop and really like your hats! They look very well sewn. :)

Hi Ummjuju, You might want to add your name somewhere so its more personal that just your shop name, maybe even a picture of yourself so people can 'know you', or at least think they do. Your cover photo and profile pic are the first thing people see when they search before they even click on your shop, both of those photos are blurry. You may want to jump on canva.com and see if you can edit a phot for the right size for your etsy banner (its free and easy to use, mostly drag and drop).

Thats my two cents, but I am no expert.
