I just wanted to post this a reminder about shop feedback. When I'm purchasing I always read any negative or neutral feedback just to see if its an issue that would prevent me from buying.
Lots of times I find myself annoyed that customers can give negative feedback for anything if its its their error (like not reading the listing before purchasing or not having a use for an item after they purchased which has nothing to do with the shop itself).
But I have to say I'm a bit shocked lately when I read the responses from some shop owners to a customer leaving negative feedback. I have not received negative feedback (yet...fingers crossed) but I have had a few situations with customers where I have to step away from my computer before responding to emails. And even then it sometimes takes a lot to respond professionally instead of how I really want to respond. But some of the replies I have read are downright rude, and include name calling and such. Now I know that sometimes the negative feedback itself is infuriating and I'm sure dealing with the customer prior to that was probably stressful but remember that your other potential customers can also see how you handle the negative comments and that could impact if they want to buy from your shop, so remember if you get some unfriendly feedback to think before you respond.
