To like the items in the posts following your post just click on the "thumb up" picture as I did on your post.
To follow someone, go to the top right of a shop's page and click on the picture of the shop. A new screen will come up. At the top left side you will see the name of the shop and a gray oval with a + sign that says "follow". Click on that gray box and you will become a follower.
