Help with YouSendIt and other file sending methods

I am needing help/advice/suggestions on ways to send my files. At first, there were no problems. I have used YouSendIt for over a year and rarely had any customers with problems. This past week, almost every customer has either not received their files or can't seem to open them. There have been many reasons why, and I've been able to help them through most of them...but I'm wondering if I should change how I send the files.

So I'm asking you these questions:

1. What service/method do you use to send the files?
2. If you use YouSendIt, have you had problems sending to Yahoo addresses?
3. Do any of you work with the Yahoo Large attachment feature and if so, how does it work? I do not use Yahoo but may have to switch as it seems many of my customers do and they are the ones with the most problems.

Thank you!

I like box.com, because I can create and send a link with the downloadable file for each client [everything's personalized], and then if they have a problem downloading it, they can go download it again later. Plus the service is free and professional-looking :)

I use Craft Hub. You upload your files and they're sent instantly when your customers purchase.

Re: Help with YouSendIt and other file sending methods

When I started sending files, I usually just attached them to an email. When my sales volume started growing, I was finding more and more of my customers not receiving my emails. Most of them were gmail users. I looked into what was causing the issues but realized that finding another file-sharing solution would be a better use of my time.

Now, I use a cloud-type service from GoDaddy that lets me back up my files remotely then share the files I choose by creating a link. I can password protect, but Mac users seem to have issues entering the password and accessing the files. I upload to the online folders using Filezilla then log into my GoDaddy web interface and share the file. My only real complaint so far is that I can't have the link automatically expire, so I have to go in and remove the link manually.

Good luck!!
