I think the price of your items is very reasonable, a good tempting price, but then the shipping almost costs as much as the item :( Is that how much the shipping really is? I would raise the price on the item and lower the ship cost. I'd love it if you could give me feedback on my shop too :)

Hi Marissa.

This is the problem I've had a lot of people saying my items are lovely but they are too pricey but I have dropped the price and increased the shipping otherwise I will not make any profit.

I live in the UK and the only secure way to send parcels overseas these days is by using a tracked and signed service which ranges from £3-£5 depending on which country and how much the parcel weighs.

If I hard any lower, I won't get hardly anything back and that's the dilemma :/

Hmmm... maybe if you tweak your items slightly? Personally I don't really wear brooches, but if you attached it to an inexpensive elastic headband they would be adorable for a baby/little girl! Also I would recommend you take some shots of your items in use, set up a cute scene, lots of your broaches or key chains attached to a bag? Maybe a discount for larger orders? Your photos are great otherwise and your items look very well made! Hang in there I'm still waiting for my first sale.

for what its worth - i agree your pieces are adorable! ^_^
i understand about the shipping issues - especially to the us or otherwise overseas -
one thing that throws me is the prices are odd cents. for example - if a piece was $8 it looks more enticing than if it is $8.45 - that could just be a psychological shopping thing - but the prices are all over the place - if they were like $8 or $9 or $10 that would maybe be more mentally palatable?
also maybe there is a way to market within the uk? so you don't have to do so many overseas shipments?
i'm not a pro in any of this - but hopefully this maybe is somewhat helpful?
