Are my prices too high?

I am a little worried because I didn't sell any of my items yet...
I've been making treasuries, I joined some groups, but I don't know if my prices are too high. Here are some shops that sell hand painted boxes:

http://www.etsy.com/shop/GreenFoxStudio?ref=seller_info
http://www.etsy.com/shop/NandJDesigns?ref=ss_profile
http://www.etsy.com/shop/PoorPitifulPetunia?ref=seller_info
Their prices are about the same as mine...

Please give me your opinion :)

Best regards,
Maria Inês

Re: Are my prices too high?

I think that in comparison your prices are fair. I would stick to using this shop as your example http://www.etsy.com/shop/NandJDesigns?ref=ss_profile
because they have been around for awhile and have had lots of sales. I hope that helps.

Re: Are my prices too high?

i think that you shouldn't focus at the prices but you should focus at the variety of your items, how many items do you have in your shop and also more important is the photos. you should think an other way to photograph your items. they are lovely. they need better photos and variety.

that's my opinion. ;)

Re: Are my prices too high?

I agree with Maria-Teresa.

It's not that your pictures are bad ,however Etsy and the Etsy community seem to like a certain type of photography, which is soft, subtle white backgrounds. Your backgrounds seem to be more of a stark white and have a very hard contrast against the product. If you or another person is spending time to edit them this way, I think you should invest more time into taking photos in a natural-looking setting ,where you can see the product with a soft, natural shadow and a soft white background.

Here are some great examples:

Just my opinion. I do hope you take this into consideration ,though.
