Hey Guys!
Happy March 1!! So, at the begining of every month I'll start a new thread - otherwise the discussion threads get really really long if you don't close them off every once in a while!

So, I don't know if I mentioned this buy I'm expecting a new little baby girl this May!! I was hoping to go off work today but, of course, my OB thought that was a bit premature! Grrrrrrr...... oh well!!!

Belle, congratulations on your little baby girl! Now I see your inspiration for the Posh Nursery! I remember with my first baby, I was still working, and was also hoping the OB would think I should be staying home and taking it easy! Unfortunately, he said I was fine to keep working. I feel your pain!!

Oh Belle, thats so exciting!
I cannot wait to have children. However my boyfriend and I are saving like mad for a deposit on a house at the moment. Want to do that first before babies. Its so hard though, I dont know about where you are (where is everyone based?) but in the UK you need at least a 15% deposit, thats going to be like £20,000 - argh!!!!!

THanks guys!! This will be baby girl number two for us and I'm so excited to grow our family!!

Lulu - I'm in Canada and I think here you need only a 5% deposit on your firt house (but 10% on subsequent houses)...i think! But, here if you don't put at least 25% down (again - I think!) you need to pay a company like $10,000 to insure your mortgage! We are on our second home so I don't quite remember all the rules...plus it seems like they are always changing!!!

Made some hangers, now to go off and list them! :)

Hi!

I am thrilled to be joining this group. I have been working in Etsy isolation thus far, so it will be fun to engage with other Etsians. My shop sells pillows, Christmas stockings (believe it or not, a great baby gift!), and other goodies. Many ideas, but never enough time!

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself and say thanks for inviting me to be part of the team! I am very new to teams....and although I have been on etsy for over a year, I am new to dedicating time to it :) I have an 18 month old girl, who is the love of my life and the inspiration for my shop. I create custom nursery artwork using oil paints, acrylic paints and fabric on stretched canvas. I love to match bedding colors, themes, etc. We called my little girl "baby sully" when she was in the womb since we didn't know if it was a boy or girl (thus the name Baby Sully's Art)!

Looking forward to working with and learning from all of you! Such beautiful items!!! Makes me want to try for a second baby!

Hey guys!! Just wanted to keep you all updated - when we first formed I said that when we hit 15 members I was going to do up an Etsy press release. Well, I prepard something and submitted it to Etsy, as well as several highly followed blogs. There are, obviously, no promises that any of them will accept my submissions, however, you never know until you try, right?!

Anyways, some of the blogs only feature (from what I can tell) individuals and not teams, but I sent them our info anyways and said that, even if they couldn't feature our entire team, we would be really proud if they could feature on any one of our team members! :) Promote, promote, promote!! :)

Well, here's to hoping!! Will keep you posted if I happen to hear back from any of them (although, keep in mind, I'm sure they receive TONS of submissions from many sources!).

I`m so happy to be a part in this team. I`m Seren living in Istanbul/Turkey. Have learned crocheting from my father when I was six. :)
I saw amigurumis while I was a student in London. I was looking after a baby girl after school. She had 3 knitted rabbits and I fell in love with amigurumis :) I began to crochet my own toys, began to sell them locally, some of my amis have been cover stars on some hobby magazines. :) I`m new to etsy :) I sold my first amigurumi globally :))

Everyone here is so creative and makes beautiful works! I'm honored to be in this group!

Rose!!! OMG!! THat is amazing!!! THanks so much for your fabulosity in making treasuries!! DId you see that there was over 500 views of your treasury!! Soooo awesome!! Wow..I'm so proud of our team.


Thanks to Rose we also got some people who requested to join the team!! I haven't accepted them yet because - and I wanted to talk to the team about this - 2 of the 3 shops that requested to join us don't focus primarily on nursery stuff/kid's room items. In our team description I have listed that a requirement for joining is a shop that focuses PRIMARILY on nursery/kids. I feel bad rejecting them, however, it sort of defeats the purpose of being on a nursery team, I guess. They do have 2 or 3 items that could be used in a nursery however the majority of their items are other things. WHat are all your thoughts?

Allsocute - I'm so happy you're joining us from Turkey!! We also have, I believe, 2 shops from the UK, shops from USA, and from Canada....am I missing anyone out there? I love that we can pull together a posh nursery with items from around the world! :)
