Could you give me your thoughts on my blog?

Hey everyone! So far am loving this team, lots of friendly people and its not too quiet but not mega busy that I can't keep up!

I started a blog a couple of weeks ago to run alongside my shop and I wondered if I could get some honest but not too harsh, feedback?! Some random commented that I should change the font if I want people to read it! Do you agree? Any other thoughts? Thanks in advance!

I personally think your blog is fabulous!!! I'm following it now (but I don't show up as thebellefleur - I show up under my blog name (thehandcraftedcottage). I left a comment on your last post too! :)

You know what's so funny - as soon as I saw your blog I was like, omg, how did she change the font to that? I was going to ask you because I can't figure out how to change the font from the basic 4 options they give you. Perhaps the random was talking about the colour....like, they thought the pink on light pink was hard to read? Personally I think it's fine but maybe they are older (or slightly hard of seeing????).

Anyways, I love the blog and if you like your font, I would totally keep it!

It looks great and unique ~ a statement of who you are :)

I wear reading glasses and for me, the pink on light pink is a bit more difficult to read than a much darker font but I can read it fine if I look carefully and take my time :o)

Thanks for the feedback so far! I'd not thought about the color so will think about that.

Bellefleur to change your font go to your dashboard and select 'design' then 'template designer.' When that loads up if you choose advanced and then page text, theres a few different fonts to choose from.

I actually think the font is quite legible, but agree it is simply the wrong colour. Easy fix! :) Perhaps a medium-medium dark grey would do the trick. It would also tie in the background of your gorgeous logo, and just happens to be the colour of the wall in the feature post photo. Just beginning a blog myself and would love your feedback when I have more to show than the blank page it is today :)

Like the new colour you chose. It's the one I'm using too, or at least really close! Great minds think alike. I've been reading your blog this morning and am passing it on to my sis-in-law who's a first time mom of a one year old. GREAT idea to stock up the freezer. An idea that will be passed along!

Fantastic photo! It's a blessing to have creative frends. Especially those with cameras. :)

I bookmarked your blog, as my husband and I are trying to conceive with our first. I think your articles are really interesting & helpful! My only critique would be the top paragraph, the light pink with pink background is tough to read on my computer screen.

I think your blog is great and your font is just fine - but being one with less than perfect vision, I did find the light pink a little too difficult to read. The rest of the print was fine but you may want to change that one color to ease reading.

Lovely blog. Congratulations (belated!) on the addition of your daughter to the family. My daughter Amelia was born 10 days later on December 29th. She is my second child, but my first girl. Girls are so much fun, aren't they?! I went a little crazy buying clothes. There is way too much adorable girl clothing out there.

Your blog looks great. I agree with previous posters, I would just darken the light pink of the intro paragraph and it will be perfect.
